Daylight Zine Logo
TOOLS: RUBBER BLOCK CARVING, ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR
I worked with my friend Ariadne Will, creator of the Daylight Zine, to create a logo for her project. I created the image as a block print first and then digitized it, so that Daylight Zine could use the rubber stamp I created to physically print the image on their zines and envelopes.
This felt like a fitting process for a zine (which are often created using cut-and-paste techniquies and a photocopier, and are sometimes even bound by hand). The logo was inspired by the artwork of the zine’s many contributors.
